I hope to bring in more members of our Society.
You are the best spokesman, of course. But with the Debate being an annual even on Einstein's bithday, and no other option, I had the idea for an asynchronous debate. I played the debate that you had with CSPAN audience callers hosted by Brian Lamb. After you spoke, then Dr. Fetzer gave his rebuttal.
As the moderator I am supposed to be neutral and did not say anything. But between you and me, you would have won on some points. Dr. Fetzer is getting on in years, at 82, and had a heart attack for 4 days last week. But I agree with you that there was plenty of debris on the Pentagon lawn. On 9/11/2001, I went there myself, and saw plane parts from about 100 yards away. It is good for Dr. Fetzer to hear that from someone with similar credentials, PhDs in Science, and Hirsch Indexes. Actual planes did hit buildings on 9/11.
To my surprise, Dr. Fetzer said in the Debate that holograms of planes could have been used. I thought he supported the Remote Control Take Over hypothesis (RCTO)I don't see any examples of realistic hologram technology from 360 degrees. Maybe it is possible to project realistic holograms from one direction at Disneyland at night. But hundreds of witnesses saw actual planes hitting the WTC towers from 360 degrees during the day.
I am very interested in your response to the RCTO hypothesis, the best explanation I have heard so far. RCTO proposes real planes, indistinguishable from hijacked planes, using technology known to exist, by Boeing's patent. RCTO explains the observed planes even better than the Official Conspiracy Theory (OCT) because remote control gear does not have 2nd thoughts as the pilot nears the building.
If anyone can rebut RCTO, it is you. I just want to know the truth. That is why I invited you to debate Dr. Fetzer. It is an easy $119 for you and the Skeptics Society. The video is being fine tuned with intro music and such, and will be available in a few days at 911Debate.org
On another topics, I did my Masters Thesis on Critical Thinking
and Open Mindedness in students practicing TM at Maharishi University, as
compared to national norms using the test instruments of the Watson Glaser CTA
and Rokeach Adult Dogmatism Scale. That may be an interesting topic for Skeptic
Magazine. Skepticism requires Open Mindedness to hear the idea, then
Critical Thinking to analyze its plausibility. One of the Maharishi
U professors, Dr. Jonathan Shear PhD in Philosophy from Berkeley published a
paer in Journal of Metaphhysics about how Plato's Dialectic technique fulfills
descriptions of Transcendental Meditation, such as a different method of knowing,
"practicing death" (being still),
turning the mind in the opposite durection, within, to realize the truth.
